Learning Outcomes

Engage in an authentic workplace and demonstrate professional practice including nuanced communication, working effectively in teams, and other factors relevant to post-university employment.

Communicate professional and disciplinary information and ideas effectively and persuasively to a variety of audiences using a range of methods.

Integrate principles of health and safety, compliance and legislation, workplace behaviours, and ethics to evaluate and provide solutions to problems typical of a professional science related industry.

Specialisation Structure
Students must complete 24 UOC.
Completion of the Professional Workplace Practice minor will also meet the 12 UOC Employability Experiences requirements of the Bachelor of Science. Students can take additional electives (including further Employability Experience courses) to reach the required UOC for the program. Please note the 96 UOC Science course requirements of the program will still apply.
