Description


Includes private tuition and examination on major instrument, participation in university ensembles, plus classes in performance studies and electives in composing, jazz studies or musicology.


Learning Outcomes


By the end of this course, students will:
  • Have increased their technical and musical skills to a level of high competency in either instrumental or vocal performance
  • Be experienced in group and solo performance and will have developed skills in either composition, jazz or musicology in the support of performance as well as the ability to convey that knowledge effectively in sound and also through oral and written presentation.
