Learning Outcomes

Obtain a broad knowledge of Earth Science and its subdisciplines.
2.
Explain the role of the dynamic earth processes that have shaped our world to become what it is today.
3.
Explain the relevance of earth science concepts and solutions to contemporary environmental issues.
4.
Relate the use of Earth’s natural resources with the development of equitable societies.
5.
Synthesise and explain the relationships between subdisciplines of Earth Science.
6.
Implement experiments and field observations, analyse and interpret data and report research outcomes.
7.
Demonstrate expertise in using and applying established and emerging techniques in the field of Earth Science to retrieve, manipulate, transform, and present scientific data and information.
