Learning Outcomes
1.
Apply a regulatory perspective including international obligations and customary international law concepts to identify and evaluate contemporary issues in sustainability and the environment in an aviation context and propose strategic solutions using a regulatory lens.

Analyse and evaluate aviation’s contribution to climate change, aircraft noise and related environmental impact, and propose appropriate solutions based on scientific, theoretical and operational knowledge.
3.
Apply scientific analytical methods to identify and assess social, economic and environmental sustainability challenges in the aviation industry and employ leadership and teamwork skills in providing practical solutions.
4.
Demonstrate professional and accurate communication of stakeholder perspectives in key areas of contemporary public discourse in the aviation and environment nexus, including the application of social media for communication with customers and the general public on sustainability.
5.
Critically reflect on your own approaches to sustainable leadership practice including ethics in the context of positive social, economic, and environmental change in the aviation industry.
