Students must complete 36 UOC of List A core courses.

With a few of the Science specialisations only one MATH course is required, in which case students will be required to complete one of either ECON1202 or ECON1203.
Core Courses List B (Econometrics)
Students must complete 24 UOC of Econometrics core courses.
Note: The course ECON2102 is a core component of both the Economics and Econometrics majors. If a student takes these majors together, the course ECON2102 will be counted only towards the Economics major, and an additional elective course must be selected in the Econometrics major.
Electives for students also taking Economics major
This rule applies only to students who are completing a major in Econometrics together with a major in Economics. Because the core course ECON2102 Macroeconomics 2 (6 UOC) is common to both these majors, students are required to take an additional 6 UOC elective as part of the Econometrics major.
Minimum Level 3 content
Students must complete a minimum of 18 UOC of the following courses.
