Note: If you commence Professional Level with Professional Japanese B, you must complete a Professional Studies course in place of Professional Japanese A to meet the requirements of 24 UOC at the Professional Level.

MINIMUM PROFESSIONAL LEVEL COURSES

Awarding of the Advanced major stream in Advanced Japanese Studies is contingent upon completing 24 units of credit at the Professional level, no matter the level of entry into the stream. If you wish to gain a major stream in Advanced Japanese Studies, you must complete 48 units of credit in approved courses that include 12 units of credit in Professional Japanese A and Professional Japanese B and 12 units of credit in other Professional Studies courses.

Language Studies for Commencing Mid-Year Students

If your language skills are assessed as Level A in Introductory, Intermediate, Advanced or Professional you cannot commence study until Term 1.
