Advanced Language Core Courses
If you commence at Advanced Level you must take 12 UOC of the following courses.
Professional Language Core Courses
You must take 12 UOC of the following courses.

French Contextual Studies Electives
You must take at least 12 UOC, up to a maximum of 18 UOC of the following courses.
French Professional Studies Electives
You must take at least 12 UOC, up to a maximum of 36 UOC of the following courses.
Minimum Professional Level Courses
Awarding of the Advanced major stream in Advanced French Studies is contingent upon completing 24 units of credit at the Professional level, no matter the level of entry into the stream.
Commencing Mid-Year
If you commence Professional Level with Professional French B, you must complete a Professional Studies course in place of Professional French A to meet the requirements of 24 UOC at the Professional Level.
Additional Information
Language Studies for Commencing Mid-Year Students
If your language skills are assessed as Level A in Introductory, Advanced or Professional you cannot commence study until Term 1.
