Overview
The Bachelor of Construction Management and Property (Honours) is a one-year program which provides students with a further study option after completing a three-year degree in the construction management and property discipline area. The program is offered over a minimum of three terms. Students will be required to do a major thesis project which consists of two courses: BENV4000 Research Methods (6 UOC) and BLDG4504 Thesis (12 UOC). These two courses provide key research training and critical thinking skills. Students who choose to complete Honours in one of the specialisations will be required to do a thesis project related to their chosen specialisation, 3 core courses, FADA6700, and 1 program elective course. Students who are doing a generalist Honours degree will enrol in FADA6700 and 24 UOC disciplinary electives.
Students who completed FADA6700 as an elective in the Bachelor of Construction Management and Property degree (3332) will retake FADA6700 and complete a second placement in the Honours program.
