Double Degree Structure
Students must complete 192 UOC.
Bachelor of Engineering Science (96 UOC)
- A 96 UOC Engineering Science major
Bachelor of Commerce (96 UOC)
- Integrated First Year Courses (42 UOC) - BEng/BCom students do not need to take COMM1110 as this requirement is satisfied in the Engineering program
- myBCom (0 UOC)
- Commerce major (48UOC). Note - Students taking a combination of majors and/or minors that require both COMM1822 or INFS1603 and COMP3311 as core courses, should take only COMP3311, and replace COMM1822/INFS1603 with an additional major or minor elective.
- Prescribed Work Integrated Learning Course - this can be satisfied by completing a Commerce WIL course.
- Final Year Synthesis (0 - 6UOC). Requirement can be satisfied by taking DESN3000, however students will still need to complete 96 UOC of Business courses.
- Business electives to make up to 96 UOC Business School disciplinary requirement.
In this dual degree students take 96 UOC for the Bachelor of Engineering Science, and 96 UOC for the Bachelor of Science, for a total of 192 UOC.
