Students must complete 192 UOC.
Commerce
- Integrated First Year Courses* (48 UOC) - students in Commerce/Economics do not have to complete COMM1100, COMM1110 or COMM1150 as this requirement is satisfied by completion of Level 1 Economics courses. COMM1900 must be taken in place of COMM1100 and COMM1150.

Economics
- Introductory Business Course (6 UOC) - this will be satisfied by completion of the Integrated First Year Course in the Commerce program*
- Economics Core Courses (48 UOC)

- Business Electives (12 UOC)
Students may choose to use their Economics core and elective courses to complete an optional Economics major. Courses for the major are taken once but also meet core and elective course rules where listed.
Electives
- Where students satisfy the requirements for the Commerce and Economics rules in less than 192 UOC due to courses shared across the two programs, they can choose free electives to ensure a total of 192 UOC is completed.
