Program Structure

This program is currently only available as an exit award from the combined Bachelor of Exercise Science/Master of Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology double-degree and is not available for entry as a standalone program.  

To qualify for the exit award students must complete 144 UOC and satisfy all program rules.

Compulsory Training Component

Clinical and other workplace observations and simulation training will be undertaken regularly throughout this program to prepare you for your advanced WIL experiences. 

Progression Requirements

Students are permitted to attempt the same course a maximum of three times. A student who fails the same course for the third time will not be permitted to re-enrol.

Separate year research Honours (4530)

Students enrolled in the double-degree who have a minimum WAM of 65 at the end of Year 3 may take leave from their studies to undertake a separate one-year research 4530 BHlthSc (Hons) in their chosen discipline. They may then return to complete the Extended Masters. There will be three intakes each year, aligned with the terms. Students must complete an Intention to undertake Honours form by the end of October for commencement in T1 the following year, or March for T2 commencement and July for T3 commencement in the same year.

This program is offered as a 5-year Bachelor of Exercise Science/ Master of Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology double-degree. A qualification will be awarded on completion of the 5-year program.
