Program Structure
Students must complete 48 UOC when taken as a standalone program.

- A stream-specific course (6 UOC) - Students must select course in the relevant areas of study/stream based on the intended articulated UNSW undergraduate program.

To be awarded a UNSW Diploma in Architecture, you will require a pass (P) grade in all seven (7) disciplinary diploma courses and a satisfactory grade in the Communication and Academic Literacy course.

Academic Program Rules
- Students must complete a minimum of 48 Units of Credit.
- The diploma program is a full-time program. Only in exceptional circumstances, with permission of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) or their nominee, will students be permitted to enrol in the diploma program with a reduced study load.
- Students must complete eight courses: seven (7) disciplinary courses and one (1) Communication and Academic Literacy course.
- To be awarded a UNSW Diploma in Architecture, a student will require a pass (P) grade in all seven (7) disciplinary diploma courses and a satisfactory grade in the Communication and Academic Literacy course.
- Students enrolled in the Diploma will not be eligible for Program Leave except under exceptional circumstances, and with the permission of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) or their nominee.
