Level 1 Core Courses3436 - Music
You must complete 36 UOC of Level 1 core courses.
Note: Performance lab course MUSC1707 (12 UOC) is taught as a multi-term course at 4 uoc each term.
- If you are admitted into the advanced entry scheme, you will receive a block credit of up to 36 uoc in Level 1 music courses.
Level 2 Core Courses3436 - Music
You must take 30 UOC of the following courses.
Performance lab course MUSC2703 (12 UOC) is taught as a multi-term course at 4 uoc each term.
Level 3 Core Courses3436 - Music
You must take 12 UOC of the following courses.
*MUSC3706 Performance Lab C (12 UOC) (Music Creative Practice and Music Pedagogy Streams only).
Performance lab courses MUSC3705 (12 UOC) & MUSC3706 are taught as a multi-term courses at 4 uoc each term.
Level 4 Core Courses3436 - Music
You must take 36 UOC of the following courses.
*MUSC4705 Performance Lab D (12 UOC) (Music Creative Practice Stream only) OR Music Electives (12 UOC) (All other streams)
Core Courses4701 - Law
Students must take 96 UOC of the following courses.
Prescribed Music Electives3436 - Music
You must take 12 UOC of the following courses.
You cannot double count your stream courses as Prescribed Music Electives. Prescribed Music Electives must be chosen from outside your stream courses.
It is recommended that non-Creative Practice stream students take MUSC4706 as an elective as it will provide an opportunity to continue with ensemble music as part of their pre-professional training as musicians.
Law Electives4701 - Law
Students must complete 42 UOC of Law Electives.
Note: With the permission of the Director of Undergraduate Studies and the course teacher, undergraduate students may enrol in one or more Postgraduate courses, in a select list of approved Postgraduate Electives. Not more than half the students' total elective courses may be taken from the postgraduate offerings.
