The Bachelor of Social Research and Policy (UNSW BSRP) degree combines a core program of skills in policy analysis and research methods with in-depth study in one or more social science disciplines. The degree requires one stream of study in an approved social science discipline and a minimum level of electives. You will have the opportunity to further develop your professional and workplace skills through an internship and career-orientated focus. The LLB component provides students with the fundamentals of law and the opportunity to complete a professional legal degree.

Double Degree Structure
264 Units of Credit:

Students must complete 264 UOC.

Major specialisations
3420 - Social Research and Policy

Students complete 60 UOC from any of the Internal or *External streams below. Students must declare their major at the time of enrolment into Level 2.

Note on external streams
*Human Resource Management, *International Business, and *Marketing: Students who choose any of these streams are required to complete 12 UOC of Prescribed Arts and Social Sciences Electives.

Students must complete 42 UOC of Law Electives.

Note: With the permission of the Director of Undergraduate Studies and the course teacher, undergraduate students may enrol in one or more Postgraduate courses, in a select list of approved Postgraduate Electives. Not more than half the students' total elective courses may be taken from the postgraduate offerings.

Maturity Requirements

You must complete at least 24 UOC before enrolling in Level 2 courses.You must complete at least 24 UOC in your major stream before enrolling in Level 3 courses.

Nura Gili Pre-Law Program
