Students must complete 264 UOC.

Major specialisations
3420 - Social Research and Policy

Students complete 60 UOC from any of the Internal or *External streams below. Students must declare their major at the time of enrolment into Level 2.

Note on external streams
*Human Resource Management, *International Business, and *Marketing: Students who choose any of these streams are required to complete 12 UOC of Prescribed Arts and Social Sciences Electives.

General Education (Internal)
3420 - Social Research and Policy

Students enrolled in this program concurrently with another program in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences must complete 6 UOC of General Education as part of each program. The 6 UOC of General Education replaces one core course at Level 2 in each program.

For students completing the BSW (Hons) in this Dual mode a Social Research & Policy Prescribed Elective is replaced with an approved GE course to meet 6 UOC of the GE requirement. The other 6 UOC is to be taken by replacing ARTS1753 Culture, Experience and Change with an approved GE course. This completes the 12 UOC GE requirement.
