Handbook - Mathematics Skills 1

Overview

REGZ9070 Mathematics Skills 1 is designed to provide a level of competency in mathematics for students who have not studied HSC Mathematics (or equivalent) at high school or have not met the assumed level of knowledge of their intended degree and who are enrolled in either the Science or Engineering components of the University Preparation Program (UPP) or UNSW Prep Program 17-19 (UNSW Prep). Students would normally be expected to already possess a level of knowledge equivalent to Year 10 Mathematics. REGZ9070 covers basic and further topics in arithmetic and algebra, coordinate geometry and introduces functions.
