TABL3333 is an advanced course available to high-performing students upon successful completion of TABL3033 UNSW Tax and Business Advisory Clinic. Under the supervision of CA/CPA/IPA-qualified clinical supervisors, students continue gaining hands-on experience undertaking work for real clients with an emphasis on particularly complex matters. TABL3333 students will take an active role in on-boarding and mentoring TABL3033 students, leadership roles in conducting interviews with clients, making strategic decisions about carriage of the file, undertaking advanced research, drafting all documents and where appropriate taking a leadership role in the preparation of income tax returns, BAS forms and other tax lodgement documents, objections, research and advocacy work. Students also lead in-community outreach education workshops to support and empower financially vulnerable people and communities. Students advance their professional skills, technical skills, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, research, innovation and creativity and leadership skills – all while making a difference to the most disadvantaged in our society.

Prerequisite: TABL3033 and 65+ WAM and Good Academic Standing.
