Handbook

This course builds upon the foundational knowledge of contact lenses acquired in courses OPTM6411 Contact Lenses and OPTM6422 Clinical Optometry 4B, expanding student knowledge and expertise into practical, real-world clinical settings. Students will develop essential clinical skills to competently examine individuals seeking contact lenses in optometric practice and provide tailored recommendations and treatment strategies for providing eye care with contact lenses. 

Brief Curriculum: This course comprises supervised clinical placements and weekly tutorials in the areas of Contact Lenses and Advanced Contact Lenses.

Students may be required to attend compulsory clinical placements during the mid-year recess.
