Important notes:  This course has two course codes: GENS5013 and AVIA3013. Some students will be enrolled in GENS5013, while others will be enrolled in AVIA3013. AVIA3013 exists in order to allow Faculty of Science students to learn about workplace safety, as they would normally be excluded from taking a general education course from their home faculty. This is essentially an enrolment issue: the assessments and requirements of the two courses are the same. Both Aviation and non-Aviation based examples are used in the course.
