This workshop course provides students with a series of practical challenges and applied exercises to apply and integrate knowledge and skills they have mastered in the second year of their cyber security degree.

In this hands-on course you will learn about and apply the defensive skills of a professional cyber team including establishing policies, conducting audits, and designing and operating a Security Operations Center, and then detecting and responding to cyber incidents. Students will work in teams - led by experienced defensive mentors, and carry out a series of security operations centre wargames throughout the term.
