This course immerses students in applying a user-centric approach to identify cybersecurity threats while employing modeling and intelligence techniques. It emphasises cybersecurity's ethical, social, and sustainable aspects, considering the impact on users. 

Throughout the course, students will develop a deep understanding of the intelligence techniques used to detect, analyse, and respond to cybersecurity threats. They will gain proficiency in utilising state-of-the-art data analysis tools to identify patterns and anomalies within large datasets. The course also covers the fundamentals of digital forensics, equipping students with the skills to analyse digital evidence and trace the origins of cyberattacks. Based on their analysis, they will learn to develop strategies to prevent future incidents. 

In addition, students will explore the mindset, tactics, and techniques cyber adversaries employ. This knowledge will enable them to leverage established frameworks and best practices, allowing for the implementation of effective countermeasures. By the end of the course, students will possess a comprehensive toolkit of intelligent techniques to manage and mitigate cybersecurity incidents within an organisation. They will be well-prepared to identify and respond to security incidents, safeguarding valuable digital assets.
