Mathematics is a key enabler of computer science and cyber security. This course builds a foundation of mathematical concepts required by computing and cyber security graduates. This course covers mathematics fundamentals for computer science and cyber security. Students learn various cryptographic techniques, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, digital signatures and their applications such as blockchain.  It emphasises mathematical definitions and proofs as well as applicable methods. This course also encompasses the fundamentals of cryptography and other applications.
