Overview
This course introduces a variety of topics in mathematics, including the historical development of mathematics. Topics may be selected from but not limited to the following: classical mechanics; data analysis; calculus of variations; complex variables; projectiles; optimization techniques; nonlinear dynamical systems theory; industrial mathematics; combinatorics; bush fire modelling; number theory.
