This course is designed for Science students from any discipline who wish to develop core transferable skills relevant to Science-related workplaces. Through a series of seminars, tutorials and online modules, the course covers broad workplace health and safety topics applicable to all students such as compliance and legislation, workplace behaviour … For more content click the Read More button below. This course is core in the Professional Workplace Practice minor (SCIFC2) in the B Science and B Advanced Science (Honours) programs, however it can also be taken as an elective by any student with a Science focus, and can provide fundamental skills for the xxxx3199/3299 Science WIL courses. As such, students planning to enrol in a Science WIL course should successfully complete SCIF2002 before they engage in their WIL project.

Conditions for Enrolment

Prerequisite: SCIF1000 or SCIF1001

Additional Enrolment Constraints

Enrolment in a Science Program is not required, however it is highly recommended that enrolled students have a STEM focus to their Program or Specialisation.
