Throughout your career as an officer or an executive it is likely that you will be called to present a project, data, evaluations to help your organisation’s decision-making. This course introduces the art of building an argument using data visualisation. It will strengthen your ability to communicate effectively and convey the stories that they can tell with no chance of being misunderstood. We will address:

Why data visualisation is not just showing a fancy picture;
Why the same data can lead to opposite conclusions, and how this can be avoided;
If data can be used strategically to cater for different audiences (e.g., technical expert or the public);
Whether data is always a number.

The course is highly applied, non-technical, and based on case studies.
