Overview

Object as Activist: Furniture Design and the Community aims to engage you in the field of furniture design for social impact and innovation. You will work on one project throughout the course and have three sequential assessment tasks covering; research and concepts, design development and final design synthesis and presentation. SDES3411 Object as Activist: Furniture Design and the Community is a 3000 level studio course. It is one of a suite of two interrelated core courses in Year 3 that complete a four-course specialist 'object stream' in the BDes(Hons) programs in Year 3.
