Thesis B follows on from Thesis A (SAHT 4211 normally completed in S1) and entails the completion of an Honours research thesis in art history/theory or visual culture of 15-18,000 words on an approved topic. At the conclusion of the course students will submit a research thesis to be assessed by both 2 examiners (1 internal and 1 external). Assigned supervisors guide students in their research and writing during the course of the semester through regular meetings and correspondence. Students also receive feedback and advice on their thesis research from the Course Convener via face-to-face meetings and email correspondence.
