The Journal of Equity was awarded an A ranking in 2010 ERA list published by the Australian Research Council. The journal has a high calibre editorial board includes members of the judiciary, academy and legal profession. Interns will be involved in the following tasks (including but not limited to): Formatting articles into house styleDoing research to identify issues for future articles and assisting in identifying and approaching authorsDay to day management of the journalAttendance at journal board meetings where relevantAttendance at journal conferences where relevantThis course will assist in honing editorial skills, academic writing skills and self-management skills. More importantly, interns will deepen and broaden their knowledge of equitable doctrine and principle. The internship also provides an invaluable opportunity for interns to make connections with members of the profession and judiciary.
Conditions for Enrolment
Prerequisite: Completion of 78 UOC in LAWS courses.
