Overview
This course examines various theorizations of identity and culture, investigating how different conceptualizations of identity and culture constrain and/or enable particular educational responses to a range of sociopolitical and socioeconomic issues, including globalization, nationalism, diaspora, hybridity, multiculturalism, and technological innovation, at the societal, institutional, classroom and individual level.
