In this course, students consolidate and integrate their knowledge and skills of public health research and practice from courses they have undertaken in the BIPH and apply this to a specific public health issue of their own interest. Students are provided with opportunities to: identify a suitable primary faculty supervisor and public health organisation/agency for their capstone project; design a capstone project with the supervisor(s); write a literature review on their chosen topic' and, write a capstone project proposal. Online lectures, a study guide and other resources will be provided, covering essential concepts and tools of evidence-based decision-making and applied research and practice in public health. Throughout this course, students can discuss and share their ideas with other peers.
