Overview

Fundamentals of the operation and applications of a range of important semiconductor devices. Material covered includes basic semiconductor properties, carriers within semiconductors, pn junction theory, bipolar junction transistors, Schottky and ohmic contacts to semiconductors, MOSFETs, solar cells, light emitting diodes, semiconducting lasers and photodetectors.
