This research degree requires the completion of an original piece of research, more limited in scope and nature than the PhD. Students must complete 96 UOC when taken as a standalone program.

Minimum Entry Requirements

Entry to this degree requires a four year Bachelor degree with first or upper second class honours (or equivalent).

If you have not fulfilled this requirement, we offer a one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Physics which we structure to suit your particular circumstances. Completing this will make you eligible to undertake a research degree.
