Overview

The Master of Philosophy is a research degree with a coursework component taken over one year full-time or equivalent. The research component will lead to a thesis which embodies the result of an original investigation, design or engineering development. Program Structure Streams in this program require students to complete 1 research methods course (GSOE9400) and 2 Advanced Disciplinary Knowledge courses. 1 Advanced Disciplinary Knowledge course may be replaced by 1 Disciplinary Knowledge Course, subject to the approval of the Program Authority.
