This program involves a minimum of 1.5 years full-time study, maximum 2 years. The masters thesis should be submitted for examination within 2 years of full-time study.
This program also comprises of between 18 - 24 units of credit (uoc) of coursework which includes a 6uoc core course CHEM7001 Chemistry Health and Safety and up to 18uoc of advanced coursework electives offered in the faculties of Science, Law and Business.

Students must complete 72 UOC as a standalone program.

Students must take 6 UOC of the following courses.
All candidates will be required to complete the below core health and safety course from the School of Chemistry in their first Term
at UNSW.
Prescribed Electives
Students must take at least 12 UOC, up to a maximum of 18 UOC of coursework.
