Conditions of Award
The degree of Master of Arts by research may be awarded by the Council on the recommendation of the UNSW Canberra Higher Degree Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) to a candidate who has demonstrated ability to undertake research by submission of a thesis embodying the results of original research. The length of a Masters research thesis normally should not exceed 60,000 words of text.
Prospective students
Prospective students are strongly advised to make contact with a potential supervisor and the UNSW Canberra Research Student Unit before applying for research study at the University.
