Overview

The objective of this course is to prepare PhD students for their careers in academia (and is a follow-up to the UNSW Business Teaching Fellow program). Its aim is to develop PhD students’ teaching, academic, and career-building expertise to complement their research program. Fellows benefit from benefit from learning opportunities under expert guidance and immersion in the intellectual and cultural life of the school. As members of a small group, fellows will be part of a cohort of like-minded, future academics to share experiences and build a cross disciplinary network. Participants will develop and refine skills as they become effective teachers, community members, researchers, and scholarly leaders.
