Personalised English Language Enhancement for HDR (HDR PELE) is a self-directed learning course designed to help postgraduate research students in all faculties enhance their communication skills in English. In this course, you will be guided to develop a personal project that meets your linguistic needs and implement it with strong support from the lecturer, tutors, as well as peer mentors, in a warm and safe learning community. You will learn a number of essential skills needed by all research students, including reflective thinking and time management. This course best suits you if you are in the early stages of candidature. You are required to have your supervisor's permission to enrol.
