The stream of Masters of Cyber Security (Security Engineering) specifically relates to the highly technical aspects of the field, and focuses on producing software-literate graduates to work on the computer, networking and applied aspects of cybersecurity.
Learning Outcomes

Apply advanced technical knowledge and skills to the analysis of security risks in organisational IT systems.

Apply advanced technical knowledge and skills to the development and implementation of plans designed to strengthen the security of organisational IT systems.

Lead teams that analyse and improve the security of IT systems.

Lead teams that forensically analyse cyber-attacks and subsequently restore organisational IT systems to working order.

Keep abreast of emerging cyber-attack techniques and communicate the threats and counter-measures to a range of members in an organisation.
