Ensuring that airline operations are well-managed, efficient and cohesive is critical to the success and sustainability of the aviation industry.

In this Airline Operations specialisation, students will learn core skills and knowledge essential for a successful career in airline operational management. Students will complete core courses in airline operational and airline corporate management. They will also have the opportunity to take courses exploring areas such as delay management, aviation safety management systems, aviation and security, airworthiness, accident investigation, aviation policy, tourism and sustainable development, aviation economics, and an independent research project.

Together the 24 UoC of specialised courses will equip students with a specialised toolkit to undertake the wide range of day-to-day airline management tasks and decision-making necessary for effective operation of airlines.

The Airline Operations specialisation is available to students enrolled in the Master of Aviation Management program. It is designed for students who have a particular interest in airline operational management and/or would like to embark on a career in the airline industry.
