MINETS is a 72 UOC stream (Underground Ground Control) in the Masters of Mine Geotechnical Engineering (8059). This specialist training is offered on a part-time basis to industry personnel who have access to an underground hardrock mine and satisfy the program entry requirements. Learning Outcomes

Use specialised knowledge of geotechnical engineering practices for underground hardrock mining from feasibility assessment to operations.

Recognise & design elements of specialised geotechnical engineering designs and applications.

Demonstrate in-depth and broad understanding of the specialised body of knowledge of mining engineering.
