The Health Promotion specialisation is designed for students who wish to specialise in health promotion, which is reflected in their testamur.
Learning Outcomes
1.
Apply a multi-sectoral approach to health promotion.
2.
Identify and apply the principles of strengthening the capacity of communities to enhance health and wellbeing.
3.
Apply an understanding of social determinants of health to address inequalities and promote the health of communities.
4.
Develop, implement and evaluate health promotion strategies based on theory, evidence and principles of social justice and equity.
5.
Promote the health of populations through research, practice, policy and advocacy.
