Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate sophisticated knowledge of methods and principles of disease surveillance and capacity to apply these to a range of disease control settings.

Investigate and explain infectious disease epidemiology in the context of varied social and environmental conditions.

Use research-based methods to investigate infectious disease burdens in different settings and evaluate the need for intervention.
4.
Critically appraise priorities in infectious disease control and factors that influence current policy and funding.
5.
Interpret, analyse and synthesise complex infectious disease data using advanced qualitative or quantitative methods.
