Program Structure
96 UOC plan (for students with no block credit granted on entry)
Students who have not been granted block credit must complete the following 96 UOC of courses (equivalent to 2 years full-time).
- 24 UOC Foundation Courses
- 12 UOC Educational Leadership Core Courses
- 12 UOC Educational Leadership Electives
- 6 UOC Research Methodology Course
- 6 UOC Project and 36 UOC Education Electives OR 12 UOC Project and 30 UOC Education Electives
72 UOC plan (for students granted 24 UOC block credit on entry)
Students who have been granted 24 UOC of block credit must complete a further 72 UOC of courses as follows (equivalent to 1.7 years full-time).
- 12 UOC Foundation Courses
- 12 UOC Educational Leadership Core Courses
- 12 UOC Educational Leadership Electives
- 6 UOC Research Methodology Course
- 6 UOC Project and 24 UOC Education Electives OR 12 UOC Project and 18 UOC Education Electives
48 UOC plan (for students granted 48 UOC block credit on entry)
Students who have been granted 48 UOC of block credit must complete a further 48 UOC of courses as follows (equivalent to 1 year full-time).
- 12 UOC Educational Leadership Core Courses
- 12 UOC Educational Leadership Electives
- 6 UOC Research Methodology Course
- 6 UOC Project and 12 UOC Education Electives OR 12 UOC Project and 6 UOC Education Electives

Progression Requirements
Articulation arrangements:
The Master of Educational Leadership forms part of an approved sequence of articulated programs comprising the Graduate Certificate and Masters degree in the same area of specialisation. A postgraduate student enrolled in an articulated program may progress from Graduate Certificate to Masters level with full credit for courses completed in the earlier program in the sequence.
