It is designed to provide training, skills and expertise required in the mental health workplace both in the private and non-private arena. This program will assist students in meeting the mental health needs of patients requiring assessment and ongoing treatment across all mental health presentations.
The program is undertaken on a part-time basis by flexible online delivery and is suitable for working health professionals. The Program is designed for mental health professionals including medical practitioners, nurses, psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists. It is also open to members of the other interested disciplines who align with the program entry requirements.

The courses are offered once per year, therefore completion of the program may not be possible within 12 months if one or more courses are not completed successfully.

This program will provide students with the skills to work at an advanced level in mental health. It does not lead to registration with AHPRA.
