This integrated, cross-domain Graduate Certificate in Simulation and Immersive Technologies will qualify you to take up a range of high value positions as future immersive technology professionals and designers capable of understanding how these practices are shaping industries. You will become part of a new generation reshaping the future of workforce creativity and productivity.  You will experience a unique, integrated and industry-focussed approach to simulation and immersive technologies that will augment your technical knowledge with analytical and philosophical understandings of these evolving practices.   Our human-centric, design-led approach will be underpinned by a creative and critical mindset focussing on human perception and experience, enabling you to analyse how, why, when, and where to utilise simulation, visualisation and immersive platforms such as virtual, augmented and mixed reality (VR, AR and XR) across different sectors.   The program is structured to cater to the demands of professionals in the workforce from diverse industry sectors, including but not limited to, media and creative arts, health, defence, business, education, and manufacturing. Students with an advanced level of knowledge and experience in a specific domain will benefit from a broadening human-centric conceptual foundation. The program content will enable you to personalise your learning and bring your industry experience and interests into your study.  The program can be studied full-time or part-time and can be completed fully online. There is also an option to undertake the program in blended mode which requires students to attend two intensive face-to-face meetups per year on campus or at our industry partner facilities. Students will also have full access to all campus facilities throughout each term. For elective courses, students will be able to select from a range of fully online courses or on-campus face-to-face courses with weekly classes.
