Overview

The Master of Analytics will equip graduates with the capabilities needed to source, analyse and apply data insights, and the strategic thinking and communication skills to use those insights to drive strategic change. This program enables professionals to develop advanced skills in using data strategically and ethically, including data storytelling, data insights, consulting analytics and ethical analytics practice. The program concludes with a capstone project where students will consult on real world problem requiring an analytics solution.  This program is suitable for a range of professionals from data-driven decision makers in IT or education  to functional business analysts, analytics managers, and future Chief Analytics & Insights Officers.

Award with Excellence

The Award with Excellence is awarded in coursework masters programs, including Masters (Extension) but with the exception of Masters (Extended) such as JD and MD, when a Weighted Average Mean (WAM) of at least 80% has been achieved and at least 50% of the requirements of the award are completed at UNSW. All eligible programs will award 'with Excellence' except in special circumstances where approval of Academic Board has been given for a program to opt out.
