The Graduate Certificate in Child Development will provide students with specialised knowledge of developmental science and skills which can be applied in various professional and allied health contexts.  The program will augment the existing skills of professionals working in education, acute care facilities, child and family services, and allied health professionals to improve outcomes for children with diverse needs in their care and is a pathway for further learning.  This program is delivered 100% online, allowing for flexible learning.  There are no equivalent programs in Australia.

Progression Requirements

Students enrolled in the program will have a minimum of 0.75 years and a maximum of 10 years to complete the program.
Students will have to pass all units to complete the program. Students will be able to apply for special consideration when illness or other circumstances beyond their control, interfere with assessment performance. Fee Remission (Special Circumstances) procedure will permit remission of fees after the relevant census date, if a student can demonstrate special circumstances.
