Students must complete 48 UOC as a standalone program.
Discipline information
Accounting electives (List A)
Note: At least 3 courses (18 UOC) must be accounting courses (from List A and C)
Finance Electives (List B)
Note: At least 3 courses (18 UOC) must be finance courses (from List B and C).
Capstone course (List C)
Students must take at least 6 UOC, up to a maximum of 24 UOC of the following courses.

Additional Information
Many staff in Accounting@UNSW Business School serve on committees of the main professional bodies and various industry groups. In addition, there is a history of staff being members of accounting and auditing standard-setting boards of the Commonwealth Government and of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
Banking and Finance@UNSW Business School has close ties with professional and industry groups including The Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and The Financial Services Agency Australia (FSEAA).
These and other connections ensure that staff are fully informed on commercial and governmental developments, resulting in our postgraduate degrees meeting the needs of employers now and into the future.
