The Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Built Environment is an advanced interdisciplinary coursework program which enables graduates from a wide range of backgrounds to develop and consolidate their knowledge and skills in the application of the principles of sustainable development to the planning, design, construction and management of the built environment.

Learning Outcomes
1.
Review, consolidate and synthesise complex ideas and concepts at an abstract and/or applied level.

Communicate ideas around Sustainability in the built environment in a variety of formats to diverse audiences.

Demonstrate an understanding of international perspectives relevant to the sustainable built environment.

Apply enquiry-based learning and ways of thinking to professional and/or highly-skilled work contexts.

Demonstrate a specialised understanding of the concepts and principles of sustainability and their application to the built environment.

Analyse problems or issues relating to built environment sustainability and articulate and justify appropriate solutions at a variety of scales.
