Program Structure96 Units of Credit:
Students must complete 96 UOC as a standalone program.
Students must complete:
- 24 UOC Compulsory Core Courses
- 24 UOC Research Project
- 48 UOC Elective Courses
Core Courses
Students must take 24 UOC of the following courses.
Research Project
Students must take MATS6114 twice and MATS6113 once for a total of 24 UOC.
Advanced Disciplinary Electives
Students must take 48 UOC of the following courses.
A maximum of 12 UOC of postgraduate coursework offered by Schools other than the School of Materials Science and Engineering is permitted as part of the 48 UOC of electives, subject to the approval of the Head of School.
Maximum Level 3 or 4 Electives
Students may only undertake a maximum of 12 UOC of the following courses.
